It's a small house, in a small state, on a small continent, in a small world. Held like a bauble in the deep black midnight sky that stretched endless through universes on universes, a rippling cosmos that was only one part physical.
But in that expanse were tiny shining lights which called to others ones.
Like this house, watched over for so very long now. All but visibly.
